Some Autumn Pages and Using Up Old Papers

Hello everybody, I know it is unusual that I post again, but I had some pages I made over last Christmas holiday and I would love to share them with you. I would not scrap autumn pages right now as we are really looking forward to spring, and lately we had very bad stormy and cold weather, even Celtic spring starts officially on the 1st February!

Firstly, I love when I use my papers for what I intended even if that is happening 4-5 years later.
So there is my first page today, the title is 'Autumn':

The photos are from 2009 so as the pattern papers layered up under the photos and felt stickers, all by Basic Grey.

Background is created using stencils, modelling paste, mists, gesso and inks. I applied modelling paste trough Prima stencil, let it to dry then used mists and gesso technique I learned from Finnabar to get this result. When talking about Finn, last time I September I had to drive all way to south of Ireland to attend to her workshop and now she is not only coming to Dublin, but she will be in an are 5 minutes driving from my estate YEY!!! Can't wait!

I used some old Prima, Basic Grey and WRMK embellishments as well as my very own home made mulberry paper flowers, and the close-up:

My second page is from the same event:

I used some new and some old embellishments, modelling paste and inks, burlap from my stash and paper roses are my own creation.

And my last page today is from the last autumn:

The photos are from our garden and our first apples from this tiny Cox apple tree.

Thank you very much for your visit and have a nice day/evening.

Addicted to each ather page

I would like to share a page that was inspired by two of my the most favourite challenges

Firstly Once Upon a Sketch provided this totally awesome sketch

and the theme for the months: 'Totally  Addicted to...'.

The second challenge website is fantastic Scrap Around The World that provided this fantastic inspiration board:

Colours, reds, pinks and love-harts on the SATW board and the journalling subject from OUAS made me want to make a page about myself and my husband, so there it is:

The journalling is on the tag behind the photo and it tells how much two of us depends on each other and love each other after being 20+ years together despite of some occasional downs.

For this page I used some Prima embellishments, Tim Holtz tickets and love-harts and alpha dies, chipboard by scrap matrix (or something like that) .

The background is created using white cardstock,  gesso, modelling paste, stencils, stamps, archival inks and FC Gellatos. Pattern papers are very old by Fancy Pants.

And one close-up:

Thank you very much for your visit and any comments.

Have a lovely day

'Black and White' Page and a Birdhouse

Hello lovely people

I have quick post for you today. A page I recently made for do-crafts forum, and was originally black and white as per challenge, but I had a big urge to put some colour on it:

So I took FC Gellato in turquoise colour and accented some areas.

The background was made from white cardstock, stamps, archival inks, gesso and printed tissue paper all by Tim Holtz. The letters are die cuts using Tim Holtz dies, grungeboard, gesso, rock candy distress crackle paint and gellato on the top.  The page is embellished with Prima bits, button is by Ranger, not sure of chicken wire chipboard as came without original packaging. Silk ribbon is by Pink Paislee which I had for ages.
.
A close-up (before I added green):

The second project I would like to share is a little bird house I decorated for a swap in my local scrapbooking group 'Crop Tarts':

Used distress paints and inks, dies and embossing folder. The birdie is by Prima.

Hope you like those projects and thank you very much for your visit.
